Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN – Alaska Start Date:
March 23, 2026 Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Days;
guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks with one possible call-off per pay
period; includes on-call 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend
(Friday 1800-Monday 0730); approximately 1 Saturday per month as
part of regularly scheduled shifts Highlights: Work in a
Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center recognized as the best
hospital in Alaska 407-bed acute care facility with comprehensive
cardiac and interventional services Epic charting system with
extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory
services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Float opportunities
within scope to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology
(IR) 40-hour comprehensive orientation with specialized equipment
including Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablator, and shockwave
technology 13-week assignment with one approved time-off request
available upon offer acceptance Requirements: Active Alaska RN
license (must be in hand for expedited processing; pending licenses
accepted for submission with 10-12 week processing time) Minimum 2
years of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience Current BLS and
ACLS certifications required Epic charting system experience
strongly preferred Experience with diagnostic and interventional
cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart
catheterization, PCI, cardiac stent placement, and IABP
placement/removal Proficiency with hemostasis techniques, sheath
removal/monitoring, ventilator management, and dysrhythmia
interpretation Competency in procedural sedation administration and
monitoring, emergency medications, and IV vasopressor management
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates
not accepted) Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year
of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not
accepted) Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
