Job Opportunity – Case Manager RN – Alaska Start Date: ASAP Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 5x8 Days (shift times between 0700-1700), guaranteed 72 hours per 2 weeks, includes alternating weekends Highlights: Work at a prestigious Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility recognized as the best hospital in Alaska Case management focused on discharge planning across all patient age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Epic electronic medical record system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support teams 24 hours of orientation provided with no on-call requirements 13-week assignment with opportunity to extend up to one calendar year Daily census of approximately 324 patients in a 407-bed acute care hospital Requirements: Alaska RN license in hand (required for offer) BLS certification (required) ACM certification (preferred) Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required Epic EMR experience required Acute care case management or discharge planning experience Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Knowledge of CMS guidelines, Milliman Guidelines, and HIPAA compliance Willingness to float within case manager services to meet facility needs Availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care coordination and discharge planning at Alaska's top-rated hospital.
