Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,357 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Alaska Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, Days (shift times vary: 0645-1915 or 0900-2130); weekend coverage required Highlights: 13-week assignment at a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center Diverse surgical case mix including trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, vascular, pediatric, and general surgery Epic charting system; advanced surgical technology including XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including radiology, pharmacy, lift teams, and interpretation services 18 operating rooms with varied specialty procedures; 40 hours of orientation provided Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week pay period; limited on-call for call-off coverage only Requirements: Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submittal, but license must be in hand for offer) Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience required Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Extensive OR scrub and circulating experience across multiple specialties including general, trauma, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, urology, gynecology, pediatrics, and vascular surgery Epic charting experience required Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted) Willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Two supervisory references covering one year of recent OR experience in comparable specialty/setting Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers OR nurses the chance to work at Alaska's premier healthcare facility, recognized as a U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital and Magnet-designated center.
