Senior Mental Health Counselor Masters *Part Time* - Providence

Mental Health Counselor provides psychiatric risk assessment,
crisis intervention, and treatment planning for patients in
emergency psychiatric settings. Requires a master's degree and
relevant Alaska license, with at least three years of clinical
mental health experience. The role includes telephonic
consultation, crisis line management, and coordinating patient
referrals within the community. Description The Clinical Assessment
Specialist is a licensed professional with a master's degree in the
social services fields. They serve as a member of the
emergency/acute care clinical team to provide psychiatric risk
assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, and
crisis intervention to patients and families in both the Medical
and Psychiatric Emergency Departments. Other services provided are
telephonic and in-person dissemination of up to date referral
information regarding community programs, telephonic consultation
with multi-disciplinary professionals in the community, 24 Hour
Crisis Line call management and assistance for all inquiries
regarding Mental Health Services and matching patient needs with

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work or other related
field or Ph.D. in Psychology or other related field Alaska Masters
Social Worker License upon hire. Or Alaska Clinical Social Worker
License upon hire. Or Alaska Psychologist License upon hire. Or
Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire. Or Alaska
Professional Counselor License upon hire. 3 years of Clinical
