Description The Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year
post-graduate residency program in an institutional practice
setting that provides training as set forth and approved by the
American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). The program
will provide the opportunity to advance the resident's pharmacy
practice beyond entry-level professional competence and develop the
skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary for the provision of
high-quality pharmaceutical care. Pharmacy practice activities are
performed within the context of established policies, procedures
and techniques of the individual ministry and division in which the
resident is employed, as well as federal and state standards and
statutes. The resident is expected to perform all duties in a
manner which reflects Providence Health Service's mission and

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per

system! Required Qualifications: - Graduated from an Accreditation
Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited college of
pharmacy. - Alaska Pharmacist Intern License upon hire. - Alaska
Pharmacist License within 120 days of hire unless otherwise
outlined by program policy. Preferred Qualifications: - PharmD -
Experience in hospital pharmacy practices as a student, intern, or
pharmacist. - Demonstrated computer literacy - Demonstrated drug
knowledge, IV knowledge, and compounding ability Why Join

for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
