Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Care Manager for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Care Manager - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift - Day Shift: 5×8 hours - Typical Hours: 07:30 – 16:00 - Alternate possible start times: 07:00, 08:00, or 08:30 (8-hour shifts) - Schedule: Monday–Friday (business hours) - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Responsibilities (Case Manager RN) - Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care - Discharge Planning: Ensure safe, timely discharge with appropriate resources (home care, rehab, etc.) - Utilization Review: Apply guidelines (e.g., Milliman) to assess medical necessity and level of care - Needs Assessment: Evaluate patient needs, including equipment (DME), support services, and follow-up care - Plan of Care: Develop and update individualized care plans - Documentation: Maintain accurate records in Epic EMR - Regulatory Compliance: Follow CMS and HIPAA guidelines - Patient Advocacy: Ensure patients receive appropriate, cost-effective care Licensure & Certifications/nAK RN License – required (must be in hand for auto offer)/nBLS (Basic Life Support) – preferred/nACM-RN (Accredited Case Manager) – preferred/nExperience/nMinimum 1 year of RN experience/nAcute care hospital experience – required/nTravel experience – not required (first-timers accepted)/nBehavioral health experience alone is NOT accepted/nTechnical Skills/nEpic EMR experience – required (strong preference / “hard stop”)/nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office / Teams – preferred/nUtilization review tools (e.g., Milliman Guidelines) – preferred About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
