Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide onsite
support in Eagle River, AK, within a school setting. This full-time
contract position requires dedication to improving students'
communication skills and delivering high-quality therapeutic
services across approximately two elementary schools, serving an
average caseload of 47 students. Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop
individualized treatment plans. Deliver direct speech-language
therapy services to students based on their needs. Collaborate
closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support
student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of
student performance and therapy sessions. Participate in team
meetings and contribute to program development to enhance
speech-language services. Qualifications: Valid Alaska
Certification and licensure as an SLP or SLP Assistant.
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs strongly
preferred. Experience working in school settings with pediatric
populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work independently.
Commitment to working onsite with no teletherapy (VOCO) allowed.
Position Details: Location: Eagle River, Alaska. Full-time
contract, 40 hours per week (8.5 hours daily with a 30-minute
unpaid lunch). Two openings available. Assignment dates: Immediate
