ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work in a 17-bed Surgical Care Unit (SCU) with a 1:6 patient ratio • Documentation system: Epic • Must have Alaska RN license at time of submission • Required certification: BLS • Must have Med/Surg experience with skills in NG-tube and central line procedures • Scheduling requires 4 weekend shifts per schedule • Floating to like units may be required (med/surg level of care) • PCT support available when patient count exceeds 10 • Required uniform: Navy scrubs • High focus on post-surgical, general surgery patient population • Med/Surg patient experience requirements Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive surgical care unit specializing in post-surgical and general surgery patient populations.
