Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Wasilla, AK, is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
(SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for a
contract position through the current school year. This onsite role
requires full-time dedication, providing speech and language
support to students across approximately two schools, primarily
elementary sites. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language
evaluations and assessments for K-12 students. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with educators and families to support student
communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and caseload
records. Provide direct therapy to an average caseload of 47
students. Qualifications: Valid Alaska certification and licensure
for SLPs or SLPAs. Experience working in school settings preferred.
Expertise in K-12 speech and language disorders. CCC (Certificate
of Clinical Competence) for SLPs is highly desirable. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Position Details:
Location: Wasilla, AK Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (8.5 hours
per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Contract Duration: Through
May 22, 2026 Onsite work only, no telepractice opportunities Two
