Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Seward, AK Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,375 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Seward, Alaska, 99664! Job Opportunity – Long Term Care Registered Nurse – Alaska Start Date: ASAP Location: Alaska Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Choice of 3x12 or 4x12 variable shifts (Days or Nights based on facility needs); 60 guaranteed hours per 2-week period; 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio; 13 or 26-week assignment options available Highlights: Long-term care setting with 40 staffed beds and diverse patient diagnoses including dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, and other cognitive and physical impairments Flexible contract length – choose between 13-week or 26-week assignments based on your availability Facility-provided rental vehicle available for use during assignment at no cost to traveler Comprehensive skill set including wound care, IV hydration, Peg tube feedings, respiratory treatments, and phlebotomy Adult and geriatric patient population with interdisciplinary support from social services ECS charting system with free parking and flexible scrub color policy Requirements: Valid Alaska RN license in hand at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted) Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with previous travel nursing experience required Long-term care experience required BLS certification current and valid Experience with 1:20 patient ratios and skills including oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions/PPE Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted) Willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable LTC setting within the last 3 years Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and minimum 25 years of age required if accepting facility-provided vehicle Current Hepatitis B vaccination documentation or willingness to be vaccinated/obtain medical exemption Why It's a Great Opportunity: This long-term care assignment offers experienced travel nurses the flexibility to choose their preferred contract length and shift schedule while providing compassionate care to adults and geriatric patients in a supportive environment.
