Summary About the Position: Serves as a senior Management
Analyst reporting directly to the Chief, Manpower and Management
Division, in the G8/Resource Management Directorate (DRM),
performing the full spectrum of planning, executing and reviewing
management & manpower management functions for U.S. Army Alaska's
(USARAK) Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDAs)/Augmentation
TDAs (AUGTDA) organizations. Responsibilities Performs manpower
analyst functions for USARAK?s TDA organizations and units.
Performs complex manpower and organizational studies to correct
deficiencies and develop recommendations to enhance productivity of
USARAK organizations, functional areas, and/or activities. Serves
as USARAK?s Alternate Internal Control Administrator (ICA). Serves
as the Cost Management and Army Conference program manager for
USARAK. Serves as USARAK?s Alternate Support Agreement manager;
i.e., Memorandum of Understanding, Memorandum of Agreement, and
Inter-service Support Agreement pertaining to the USARAK and
out-side organizations. Requirements Conditions of Employment

described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience,

student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying
experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must
clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on
education, your transcripts will be required as part of your

document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized
experience which includes assisting in the oversight of personnel
and resources of an organization; preparing and/or consolidating
statistical information to conduct U.S. Army manpower analysis
studies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of
work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the
federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your
level of competency in the following areas: Organizational
Awareness Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Written
Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a
General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have
52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent
(GS-11). Education Additional Information Male applicants born
after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment
Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You
will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year
trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is
required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from
