Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists
(SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in a K-12
school setting located in Eagle River, AK. This position supports
approximately two schools with an average caseload of 47 students,
primarily at the elementary level. The contract runs from the start
date through May 22, 2026, with onsite work onlytelehealth services
are not permitted. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language
therapy services to students within a K-12 school environment.
Manage a caseload spread across two schools, focusing on
individualized education plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents,
and school staff to support student communication development.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state
and school policies. Adhere to all applicable certification and
licensure requirements. Qualifications: Valid Alaska certification
and licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant credential. Experience working in school
settings with children ranging from kindergarten through 12th
grade. Familiarity with best practices in speech-language therapy
for school-aged children. Ability to work onsite full-time for 40
hours per week, including 8.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid
lunch. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location:
