The Role: Under the visionary guidance of PAMC Senior Leaders, the Director of the Providence Imaging Center (PIC) will take the helm in planning, developing, and directing all functions of the PIC, ensuring alignment with our goals, objectives, and Strategic Plan. Youll work closely with the PIC Medical Director to implement innovative strategies and drive meaningful changes. What Youll Do: Leadership Catalyst: Facilitate, support, and model team decision-making while expanding and coaching teamwork. Anticipate and influence change using leadership principles, building trust and inspiring collaboration to achieve common goals. Quality Advocate: Develop indicators, measure, monitor, report, and communicate performance outcomes to team members. Seek customer group input as a foundational step in planning processes and serve as a liaison with PIC partners, management committee, PHSA administration, radiologists, and PIC Medical Director to advance PIC goals and initiatives. Financial Strategist: Incorporate customer insights into budget planning, prepare timely budgets, and review annual budgets with teams. Anticipate and adjust operating plans to align with PICs strategic initiatives and objectives. HR Steward: Promote employee self-development, ensuring timely completion of coaching sessions, evaluations, and job-related education. Possess overall authority in hiring and terminating employees with input from the Medical Director and PIC Leadership team as needed. Develop and support robust employee education initiatives. Operational Leader: Apply management principles to daily operations, ensuring compliance with FDA, NRC, ACR mammography accreditation standards, and IDTF standards. Maintain collaborative working relationships with PAMC radiology director and other PHS radiology directors, actively participating in system-sponsored meetings and events. Communication Expert: Demonstrate excellence in verbal, written, and listening communication. Implement care/services that recognize age and diversity-specific needs/issues of the customers served. What Youll Bring: Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related healthcare field. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in supervision or management roles. Flexibility and Commitment: Ability to work irregular hours and days, with occasional out-of-town/state travel. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidates placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
