Qualifications: - Masters Degree in Communication and Speech Disorders - Type C teaching certification through state of AK Dept of Ed. - CFs are welcome to apply! Role Overview: As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details: - The caseloads are primarily mainstream with diagnoses such as speech delays, articulation, stuttering, developmental delays - Previous school system experience (fieldwork) as a Speech-Language Pathologist is a plus but not required - Familiarity with the IEP process is also helpful - You' ll receive plenty of support from the team whether you need assistance getting settled or with your job duties; Alaskans work as a team! - To be considered for employment, CCC preferred, but strong CFs with school-based fieldwork are eligible and will be considered - Rates are based on experience.
