Job Description:
Guardian Flight, a premier provider of air medical transport
services, is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious
Aircraft Maintenance Technician to upkeep and ensure the
airworthiness of our diverse fleet of fixed-wing and rotary
aircraft. The successful candidate will be instrumental in
maintaining the operational efficiency, safety, and compliance of
our aircraft, playing a crucial role in our commitment to
delivering exceptional patient care during medical emergencies.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise,
problem-solving skills, and dedication to rigorous maintenance
standards. Perform routine maintenance and inspections ensuring all
aircraft meet regulatory requirements and operational standards.
Diagnose and repair aircraft systems, including electrical,
mechanical, and hydraulic; replace defective parts using hand tools
or power tools. Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight
inspections and perform needed adjustments or repairs. Document
maintenance and repairs in accordance with company policies and
regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with the operations team to
schedule maintenance and minimize aircraft downtime. Manage
inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; order new materials as
required. Participate in continual training to stay up to date with
industry standards and technological advancements in aircraft
maintenance. Proficient in the use of aviation maintenance tools
and diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of FAA regulations
and standards. Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams and
technical manuals. Effective communication and documentation
skills. Time management and organizational abilities to prioritize
tasks. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
required. Experience with turbine engines is highly desirable.
Additional certifications in avionic systems and emergency
equipment maintenance preferred.
