Job Description:
Duties--- Independently processes all paperwork necessary to
process members for separation, discharge, retirement, and release
from active duty in support of Army personnel.--- Conducts records
review with members.--- Serves as the primary source of information
for individuals, commanders, and other personnel on and off base
regarding separation and retirement policies, procedures, and
requirements.--- Updates, inquires, and processes actions through
Personnel Data System.--- Uses a variety of office automation
hardware, software, and peripherals in the performance of military
personnel functions and performs other clerical support
workRequirements Conditions of Employment--- U.SCitizenship
Required--- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see
www.sss.gov--- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF

Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized
experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel
Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule
Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, 203
SeriesSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1)
year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or
equivalent in other pay systemsExamples of specialized experience
includes knowledge of, and skill in applying, a standardized body
of personnel rules, regulations, procedures, and precedents
relating to separation and retirement program and resolve complex
procedural and substantive problemsOR EDUCATION: Completed four
years of education above the high school level obtained in an
accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior
college, college, or universityNOTE: You must submit a copy of
transcripts OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A
combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for
this position as long as the computed percentage of the
