Job Description Company Description Green Acres, LLC (GALLC) is an Alaska Native owned Home Health Care Company. GALLC has multiple openings for Personal Care Assistants (PCA) located in Palmer, Alaska. 3 full-time shifts: 10 pm - 6 am 6 am - 2 pm 2 pm - 10 pm 1 part-time shift: 7 am - 11 am unlimited ‘on-call’ substitute PCA positions The Personal Care Assistant will provide essential day-to-day support for clients, including assisting with personal care needs such as hygiene, grooming, and mobility. Responsibilities also include helping clients maintain a safe and clean environment, offering companionship, and effectively communicating any changes in the client’s condition to appropriate team members. The role requires compassion, attentiveness, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Qualifications Experience in Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Personal Care Services Strong Interpersonal Skills and a compassionate approach to client care Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and team members Attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans accurately Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including supporting mobility and lifting as needed Relevant certifications, such as CPR or First Aid, are a plus valid AK Drivers Licens
