Job Summary and Qualifications As a MRI Tech you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. Our team is considered a “family” who works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do. - You will, under the direction of a physician ,perform MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge. - You will be expected to perform all responsibilities withminimal supervision, and thelatitude for independent judgment,ingenuityand initiative. - You willbe responsible foradvanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment,examinationsand working with students, staff teaching MRI technology. - You will be responsible for the assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed. What qualifications you will need: - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date - Vocational School Graduate - (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography HCA Healthcare's Alaska Regional Hospital is known for our expertise, compassion and skills.
