Maintenance Technician and Inspectors who hold an active Secret or
higher security clearance to join our team supporting Boeing
Commercial Airplanes in Everett, WA. In this role you will perform
production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance,
alterations and quality assurance on aircraft structure, systems
and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics on standard or
experimental certificated aircraft.Position Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and
engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
- Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination,
Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections,
Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights),
Corrective Action and Investigations.
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware,
software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according
to specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in
order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required
certifications.
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware,
software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according
to specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality
assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and
procedures.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Selected
candidates will be required to work onsite for duration of
assignment.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security
Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance
that has been active in the past 24 months is considered
active.)The position must meet Export Control compliance
requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. -
120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful
permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- 2 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex
jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair
station background.
- This position requires an individual when working at heights to
utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.
- Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as
required.Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please
note your certificate number on your resume if you are
certified.
- Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance
experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline
or certificated repair station background.Typical Education &
Experience:High School Diploma and/or General Education Diploma
(GED)Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate
