Full-timeSalary Range: $17.50-$27.00 hourly

to 4:30pmYour Role at OPA:As a Precertification Specialist at OPA
you will verify medical insurance benefits with third party payers
for procedures and services requiring pre-certification and other
related functions.What You'll Do:
- Providing outstanding customer service to all patients.
- Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations.
- Verify overall health insurance benefits and prepare
estimates.
- Educate patients on insurance coverage limits and options.
- Work closely with the billing and other departments providing
services.
- As needed compassionately discuss benefits and collect deposits
towards procedures.
- Respond timely to requests for benefits, authorizations and
estimates for patient requests.Why You'll Excel in This Role:

multiple tasks at once.
- You are familiar with CPT and ICD-10.
- You have pleasant phone presentation and keen organizational
skills.
- You have knowledge of primary and secondary coordination of
benefits
- You have knowledge or insurance websites, and government
program requirement
- You work proactively for the good of the team and its
commitment to patient centered careRequired Qualifications:
- One year of customer service, preferably in the medical
industry
- High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
- Two (s) years medical office experience
- Knowledge of insurance and billing processesAt OPA, you will
