  • Have a focus on client management and development, serving as a client manager and project manager for future assignments and pursuits with key clients in the area
  • Identify and develop project opportunities, serve as a pursuit champion, and act as a resource for HDR pursuits
  • Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large multi-disciplinary projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity
  • Assess the marketplace and determine the best business approach to win and secure contracts
  • Collaborate with other market sectors and business groups
  • Serve as the Client Manager for key clients within the region, and be active and visible in the industry
  • Promote the marketing and delivery of HDR services to clients alongside our client managers
  • Work with Business Group Managers on developing and delivering market sector initiatives
  • Drive client development and pursuit processes based on proven capture techniques
  • Support pursuits through relationship development and strategic planning
  • Participate in industry associations and serve as a role model in business and community organizations
  • Identify key investments to maintain or enhance HDR's industry leadership
  • Develop relationships with industry counterparts and senior client leaders
  • Enhance practices to improve market competitiveness and staff development
  • Lead recruitment efforts for future market sector employees
  • Coordinate work-sharing among departments and support technical excellence
  • Identify needs for new technical services and products
  • Coordinate staffing and recruiting plans for key hires
  • Support talent management and resource planning
  • Assist in project delivery, monitor profit and loss, and support QA/QC programs
  • Facilitate cooperation and remove barriers to success
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement process improvements
  • Manage staff workload and promote effective resource use
  • Assist with contract reviews and risk management
  • Promote quality assurance and technical expertise
  • Disseminate lessons learned and take on project management assignments as appropriatePreferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Alaska power projects#LI-JM8Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning, or a related field
    • At least 10 years of industry experience
    • Experience in strategic marketing and client relationship management
    • Experience in staff development and industry engagement
    • Ability to collaborate with various leadership roles
