Job Description:
A company is looking for a Merchant Risk Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze credit information and make underwriting decisions on
merchant applications
Review merchant files and verify application information
Conduct due diligence reviews and stay updated on risk trends
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in merchant underwriting or financial data
analysis
Proficiency with Lexis Nexis and experience mentoring junior
underwriters
Ability to evaluate merchant financial risk and make
recommendations for changes
Resourcefulness and attention to detail
Experience with Socure, Demyst, fraud prevention, fintech, or
start-ups is a plus
