Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mandarin Interpreter.
Key Responsibilities:
Relay oral information accurately between speakers of two different
languages in consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation
modes
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to published Standards
of Practice and Codes of Ethics for Interpreters
Act as a cultural broker, resolve conflicts, and serve as a
linguistic resource
Required Qualifications:
Native fluency in English and Mandarin
Strong cultural awareness and ability to mediate intercultural
communication
Excellent interpreting skills, including note-taking and conflict
resolution
Understanding of ethical codes and client confidentiality
Education in languages, translation, interpretation, or related
fields preferred
