Location: Remote (Anywhere within Canada) Pay: $18.00-$25.00/hr Shift: Flexible - Evenings, overnights, and weekends Length of Position: Six-month contract to begin - possibility of leading into a permanent position (depending on performance) We are assisting our client in Waterloo to find Bilingual (English & French) Customer Service Representatives. Our client has been in business for over 80 years and is continuing to grow! This company is an industry leading insurance provider that assists diverse populations and companies with their personal and business needs. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities: Intake of new claims, primarily auto & property related Documenting new claim details on behalf of insurance companies Providing the insured with immediate assistance required at the time of the call Assigning new claims to the appropriate insurance company Providing exceptional customer service (written and oral) in both English and French Customer Service Representative Qualifications: 2+ years of customer service-related experience Bilingual in French and English Open to working evening, overnights, and weekends Desktop computer or laptop with Windows operating system - headset will be provided by the company Reliable internet connection (hardwired to the router) with at least 10mbps download & 1mbps upload speeds Basic computer troubleshooting skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, etc.), with a willingness to learn new programs/systems Team player attitude with strong interpersonal skills Excellent data entry and typing speed, with attention to detail and commitment to providing quality service Previous experience in insurance and/or a call centre environment is considered an asset About us: Express Employment Professionals is one of the top staffing companies in the U.S. and Canada.
