Shipping & Receiving/Material Handler Job Summary: A company in the Medical/Office furniture industry is looking to add new members to their warehouse team. Shipping & Receiving/Material Handler Responsibilities: Removes inbound materials from delivery vehicles, inspect for damage and move to storage Operate a forklift safely and act as a material handler Some shipping and receiving paperwork and functions Pull stored materials for operations and moves to production or shipping Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks and shelves Comprehend and perform basic computer operation and document product receipt, product shipment and product invoicing Schedule & Pay: 3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:00am with OT as needed starting at 8:00pm. $16.00/HR + $1 shift premium will pay more DOE Shipping & Receiving/Material Handler Qualifications: Maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification - must be able to meet company licensing requirements for power industrial trucks required for the position - sit down forklift. Good mathematical aptitude Ability to organize priorities and work load. Great attention to detail Manual dexterity required for operating the forklift, machinery, computers Lifting up to 50pds.
