Job Description:
A manufacturing company in Salem, OH is looking for an
experienced Purchaser/Buyer to join their team ASAP!
Responsibilities: Lead the purchasing activities of the company
Coordinate purchasing activities to achieve the delivery of highest
quality, reliability and value to meet requirements Development of
business relationships and strategic partners Find the best goods
or services, choose suppliers, negotiate prices, award business to
suppliers and ensure purchases are delivered on time Serves as
liaison between suppliers and company Promote and maintain a safe
workplace environment Adherence and enforcement of all company and
other regulations Skills: Strong basic math Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and under time constraints Accurate
