Job Description:

The Behavioral Shared Home Alliance Coordinator provides services to Hope support recipients through their daily oversight of an Assisted Living Home whose support recipients have challenging behaviors and intensive support needs. The Behavioral Shared Home Alliance Coordinator is responsible for the overall supervision and management of their assigned home and the health and safety of support recipients experiencing challenging behaviors and intensive support needs. This position also fosters community supports throughout the Kenai Intentional Neighborhood, serving as a leader and coach of quality support services for complex situations. This position provides continual heightened vigilance in supervision and monitoring required for the safety of the support recipient and/or others while teaching activities of daily living, as well as social and communication skills to foster independence. There is opportunity to move into the Lead position which leads and supervises their assigned home's Home Alliance Specialist and team of direct support employees to ensure accurate implementation and fulfillment of each recipients Support Plan. Scheduling possibilities: 3 1/2 days on and 3 1/2 days off per week 1 week on and 1 week off 1 month on and 1 month off PAY: Pay is dependent upon experience and schedule, range $39,000 - $59,000 annually Responsibilities include Provides overall leadership and management of an Assisted Living home within the Kenai Intentional Neighborhood (KIN).
Supervises, develops, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines staff through teaching, coaching and mentoring. Collaborates in all aspects of onboarding personnel to fulfill department requirements.
Provides coaching, support, and training to other staff members in the neighborhood. Provides support to other staff in crisis situations and supports with behavioral interventions. Collaborates with other KIN LHACs to foster and build positive community support services.
Facilitates shift changes, and ensures all pertinent information is discussed with the Intensive Supports Home Alliance Specialist before taking time off. Education and Experience Associate's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Health or Social Science, Special Education or other related field; AND
Two years of directly related experience supporting individuals that demonstrate challenging and/or aggressive behaviors and require intensive supports that may include continual heightened vigilance in supervision and monitoring, formalized behavior management strategies, and/or verbal and physical de-escalation techniques. One year supervisory or administrative experience strongly preferred; OR
