Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Patient Access Registrar you will be responsible for timely
and accurate patient registration. You will need to have qualities
for detail and accuracy. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves
a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for
someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this
role:
* You will interview patients for all pertinent account information
and verifies insurance coverage, ensuring charts are completed and
accurate.
* You will verify all insurance and obtain
precertification/authorization.
* You will calculate and collect patient liable amounts, ensuring
that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments.
* You will process patient charts according to paperwork flow needs
and established productivity standards.
* You will interview incoming patients, his/her relatives, or other
responsible individuals to obtain identifying and biographical
information with insurance and financial information.
Qualifications:
* Prefer one year of registration experience.
* Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
* Knowledge of Anatomy.
* Effective Communication and Computer Skills.
