Position Summary:
Come join an award-winning program. ANSEP is hiring Lab Techs and Recitation Leaders.
Duties:
100 Recitation Leader: Organize and leads weekly student study sessions for STEM (science, technology, engineering, & mathematics) courses. Candidate should be able to clearly explain the principles and information presented in the courses. In addition, candidate will need to demonstrate leadership to the students. The number of students will vary weekly so candidate should be prepared to deal with these fluctuations. Recitation leaders maintain attendance records and submit them weekly to the ANSEP Student Success Manager.Lab Tech: Require considerable knowledge and skills in regard to computer lab maintenance and supervision. Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision making during shift with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and complete tasks as assigned within deadlines. Essential
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Recitation Leader: Have taken the related Recitation course and passed with a "B" or better.
Lab Tech: Duties require considerable knowledge and skills in regard to computer lab maintenance and supervision. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making during shift with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and complete tasks as assigned within deadlines.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Currently enrolled in STEM (science, technology, engineering, & mathematics) degree program or program approved by ANSEP staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

At least six months previous experience in an education setting, supervising or leading students. Six months of administrative experience preferred.

Required: UA student enrolled in the minimum of 6 credit hours; Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
