POSITIONSUMMARY: A Registered Nurse(RN) in CVSU who
renders individualized comprehensive nursing care in atelemetry
monitored environment to meet patients’ physical,
psychological,spiritual, social, cultural and educational
needs. The RN provides the best possiblepreventative,
supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to each patient
basedupon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital
policy and procedure; coordinat es functions with physicians and
other departments of the hospital in aspirit that fosters positive
working relationships .
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: Graduate of an accredited
school of nursing. (BSN preferred)
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:
Alaska RN License in this state (required)
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health
Care Provider (required)
Provider; NRP (required)
Advanced Fetal Monitoring required within the first 6 months of
hire and maintained current
