Alaska Overview ConocoPhillips Alaska and its heritage companies have more than 50 years of business history in Alaska. As Alaska's largest oil and gas producer, the company produced an average 182 thousand barrels of oil and 9 million cubic feet of gas per day. ConocoPhillips, with about 1,100 Alaska employees, holds major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay Unit, the Kuparuk River Unit, and the Colville River Unit (Alpine). ConocoPhillips operates the Kuparuk and Alpine oil fields, has an ownership interest in the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet. Description ConocoPhillips Aviation Alaska provides safe and efficient transportation of all ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc. staff to, from and across the North Slope of Alaska. This position is critical in ensuring the Operations Support team arranges the scheduling of transportation for employees to arrive at the work locations needed, when needed. The Flight Ops Support and Scheduling Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Customer and Operations Support and is the primary focal point for the day-to-day operations of scheduling and passenger services activities. Oversees Aviation Support Specialists in day to day operations, and support of the flight staff including aircraft Dispatch and flight following. Responsibilities may include: - Lead a team of logistic coordinators and dispatching professionals - Proactively works to maintain and promote ConocoPhillips Alaska safety culture by program by adopting a culture of zero tolerance towards at-risk behaviors; identifying, reporting, and correcting potential safety hazards; and intervening to immediately stop unsafe acts or situations - Primary focal point for aircraft scheduling and passenger reservations for North Slope East/West operations - Coordinates air travel on both Company aircraft as well as commercial flights between Anchorage, Fairbanks and the North Slope for employees and contract employees - Coordinates local air transportation between North Slope fields and remote Native Villages and staging areas - Sets/adjusts schedules based on North Slope field requirements - Coordinates, communicates and disseminates flight information, aircraft schedules, and passenger information to applicable parties - The organization managed acts as the focal point for communications in the event of changes to the operation or specific requirements needed - Manages the reservation system, iLogistics, for reservation coordination activities ensuring accurate input of data supporting accurate passenger manifests and reliable reporting of statistics for management - Communicates with various companies and organizations to ensure utilization of the air transportation system is valid - Provides efficient customer services ensuring accurate and pertinent schedule and operational - Actively reports and manages information when dealing with business associates, company officials, and users - Creates, validates, and reviews data and reports of flight operations to validate compliance, identify areas of opportunity, and improve performance Basic/Required: - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee or asylee - 5+ years of administrative and/or data manipulation work experience - 3+ years of supervisory experience - Willing and able to travel 15% (with or without reasonable accommodations) on a yearly basis Preferred: - 3+ years of customer service experience - ilogistic background - Basic understanding of reservations and billeting systems - Aircraft Dispatcher background and/or strong understanding of Aviation operations - Understanding and demonstrated ability to complete, validate, and create complex data tracking, program integration, report generation from various platforms - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment - Ability to foster a positive work environment and handle difficult employee resolutions effectively - Ability to develop working relationships between various groups each with its unique needs - Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results - Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals To be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of February 15, 2020.
