Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY The Principal Enterprise Developer will develop
software across the enterprise. They have strong Object-Oriented
language skills (such as C# and .NET). Expertise with Service
Oriented architectures is expected along with the ability to work
within an Agile/Scrum team. We expect you to not only produce
reliable object-oriented C# code, but also to self-manage and
self-direct your work as a member of the Scrum team. This position
is responsible for the design, development, deployment and
maintenance of business solutions across the enterprise. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned) Strong
ability to program using C# with .NET. Incorporates MVC and the
Model-View-View-Model (MVVM) patterns in Web and Desktop(including)
WPF apps. Implements Object Oriented design using Dependency
Injection, and IOC. Translates UI Designs to functional pages using
HTML, CSS, and recent JavaScript frameworks. (React, Angular)
Writes extensively in SQL, including SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
reports, database triggers, replication, encryption by key and user
defined functions. Supports ad-hoc software development requests
and system extracts. Consults with customers or other departments
on project status or technical issues, such as software system
design or maintenance. Evaluates new tools, modules, and
third-party applications and provides recommendations to management
regarding their applicability and fitness into the overall system.
Uses ORM tools such as Entity Framework, NHibernate, and/or LINQ.
Evaluates when one or the other should be used. Experience with and
comfortably uses DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins,
Azure DevOps, Ansible, Docker or Kubernetes. Ability to develop and
execute automated unit test scripts. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or 5 years
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Plus 5 or more years related experience
in sizable organization is required. 5 or more years of programming
experience in an object-oriented language is essential. ASRC is a
