The Human Resources Assistant provides services to Hope support
recipients through their work in providing administrative support
to the Human Resources team. This position is responsible for a
multitude of tasks, including assisting with the administrative
functions of the Agency's hiring and recruitment processes, and
coordinating, scheduling and tracking of Agency professional
development and training activities. The Human Resources Assistant
provides quality customer service to internal and external
stakeholders, including hiring managers, applicants, employees,
class instructors, and other HR team members, in scheduling
interviews and managing course sign-up; organizing applicant
paperwork and offers of employment; coordinating and scheduling
classes; and preparing class materials. The Human Resources
Assistant completes data entry into the human resources information
system (HRIS) and other systems in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assists the recruitment and hiring functions by coordinating with
hiring managers to schedule interviews, organizing applicant and
new hire paperwork and offers of employment, and completing other
related administrative tasks as assigned.
Prepares, organizes, and maintains data and files including
documents, correspondences, class rosters, and schedules,
physically and electronically, per departmental and retention
Completes data entry and quality assurance for assigned documents
for internal and external systems, including the HRIS, Red Cross,
and Mandt systems, in an accurate and thorough manner with minimal
errors and within required timelines. Quality assures data entry
for accuracy and integrity by self and others.
Education and Experience
Associate degree in Business or related field; and
Two years of progressively responsible administrative work
Equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience.
Experience in Human Resources or with an HRIS preferred.
