Position Title: Breakfast CookPosition Purpose:Responsible for
maintaining, setting up, cooking and producing all breakfast food
items according to hotel standardrecipes in order to create quality

opportunity to add one to two additional shifts a week.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONSAverage Percent of Time50% Cooks, prepares/produces all
breakfast meals for restaurants suitable, for consumptionaccording
to standard recipes to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
Visually inspects, selectsand uses all food items of the highest
quality in the preparation of all menu items.15% Keeps adequate
supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures proper storage
of all foodproducts and portion control, e.g., especially high cost
items10% Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by utilizing proper
quantities and rotating products.10% Keeps all refrigeration,
storage, and working areas in clean, working condition to comply
withhealth department regulations5% Organizes and transfers food as
needed, label and date for proper use and identification.5% Turns
on all kitchen equipment, such as stoves, ovens, grills, broilers,
heat lamps, steamers,fryers, etc. and ensures all is in proper
working condition.SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONSIn addition to the
performance of the essential functions, this position may be
required to perform acombination of the following supportive
functions, with the percentage of time performing eachfunction to
be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular
requirements of thecompany.
- Keeps floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents.
- Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning
product as assigned by supervisor
- to adhere to health standards.
- Assists in assigning duties to prep cook and/or pantry
- Reports any unsafe conditions to chef and engineering
department for service.
- Sets up and maintains stock of daily food preparation.
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor, such as
moving supplies and equipment, etc.NOTICE:The hospitality business
functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In
addition,this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service
atmosphere must be projected at all times.Upon employment, all
