Job Description
Position Overview:
The Retail Team Lead will partner with the Store Management Team
and assist in the execution of plans and strategies for their
store. They will support all store functions including: people
management & engagement, customer experience and operational
efficiency while ensuring excellence in all areas and maintaining
Canada Goose's expectations of quality and authenticity. With
extensive people management skills and a flare for world class
customer service, you will continuously strive to exceed our
customers' expectations.
What You'll Do:
Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the top and bottom
line results
Support in training on standard operating procedures, while
ensuring team members have a proper understanding of product and
brand history
Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and develop
key selling and operational skills that enhance customer
experience
Identify external talent for Canada Goose's retail business and
support in onboarding new team members
Drive Employee Engagement through performance recognition and
development
Drive our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service
metrics such as conversion, average dollar per transaction, units
per transaction etc.
Resolve customer issues and NPS detractors in a timely manner by
investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing
reports and coaching staff on managing similar challenges in the
future
Comply with store operating procedures to minimize store shrink
Assist with payroll and scheduling
Perform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with
company standards
Regularly review company's email and other communication tools to
ensure applicable messages are shared with the team
Provide market expertise in relation to client needs and develop
strategies to maximize product performance
Let's Talk About You:
Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
Previous experience working in high volume traffic locations with
affluent and luxury brands
Basic knowledge of inventory, scheduling and payroll management
Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail math
and metrics
High attention to detail
Strategically agile in order to drive strong sales results
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability
to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Consistently exhibits Canada Goose's Values, taking pride in being
innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, and
entrepreneurial
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and
Excel
Bonus points for proficiency in another language
Expected hourly range: $25 - $27 USD / hour
