Hospitalist FNP Opening in Anchorage, AKFull-Time / Permanent PositionPosition OverviewInpatient behavioral health hospital setting7on / 7off block scheduleFull-time or part-time options availableManage medical care for patients with psychiatric and substance-use conditionsResponsibilitiesPerform initial history & physicals within 24 hours of admissionProvide ongoing medical management, follow-ups, and discharge planningCollaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health teamCo-manage patients with complex medical comorbiditiesProvide medical consults, diagnostics, and treatment recommendationsEducate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle factorsDeliver emergency medical care within scope until higher-level care is availableSchedule & Practice DetailsBlock schedule: 7 days on / 7 days offInpatient-only settingHigh level of clinical autonomyRequirementsActive Alaska NP/APRN license (or ability to obtain)Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programAANPCB board certification requiredMinimum 1 year inpatient or acute care experience preferredBehavioral health experience a plusStrong communication and team-based care skills
