Hours Weekly) Variable Shift Under the direct supervision of a
Registered Nurse (RN), the Extern assists patients with activities
of daily living; provides a safe environment for patients by
providing 1:1 observation and care; and, assists staff and patients
with select procedures and health interventions, all in a family
centered environment. The Extern can also assist in data collection
activities (i.e. hand hygiene survalliance, personal protective
equipment usage, etc). Providence caregivers are not simply valued

enrollment in an NLN approved nursing program. National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association wirthin 30 days of hire. Preferred
Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Current enrollment in an NLN
approved Bachelor of Science nursing program; has successfully
completed, at a minimum, the 1st semester of clinicals. Previous
