Speech Language Pathologist Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,574 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Inpatient Rehab Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Speech Language Pathology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Alaska License preferred, pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, SLP License Must-Have: Acute Rehab Facility experience preferred Description: Inpatient Rehabilitation Speech Language Pathologist position available. Start date is as soon as possible. The shift is 5x8 days, totaling 40 hours per week. Some weekend coverage is required, approximately 2 weekend days per month. First timers are accepted for this role. Candidate must have experience with acute rehabilitation facilities. Knowledge in conducting fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallow (FEES) and modified barium swallow studies is required. Skills in interpreting FEES and modified barium swallow studies are also necessary. Experience with adult rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and voice therapy is essential. Candidates should be familiar with using assistive communication devices and performing bedside swallow evaluations. The role involves direct patient care in a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team are important. Candidates must be prepared to work during major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References required from supervisory positions covering one year of employment within a comparable specialty or setting.
