Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting located in Chugiak, Alaska, supporting students throughout the school year ending May 21, 2027. This onsite contract position requires delivering approximately 1,000 minutes (16 hours) of direct student contact per week within an established caseload. Candidates must hold or be eligible for Alaska OT licensure, with preference given to those already AK-certified. This role is essential for supporting student developmental and educational goals through tailored therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities: Deliver in-person occupational therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy strategies. Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with state regulations. Participate in meetings, assessments, and professional development opportunities as needed. Manage a caseload that includes approximately 16 hours of direct student interaction weekly. Desired Qualifications: Valid Alaska occupational therapist licensure is required. Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs. Commitment to onsite work, as virtual coverage is not accepted for this role. Location & Schedule: Position is based onsite in Chugiak, AK.
