Our RN Endoscopy professionals play a pivotal role in providing expert nursing care and supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the gastrointestinal tract. This role demands high levels of professionalism, a thorough understanding of endoscopic procedures, and a passion for patient welfare, aligning with our mission to improve human life. Provide direct nursing care and support before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. Assess patients' condition, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and ensure the comfort and safety of patients. Educate patients and their families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing health maintenance. Maintain a sterile environment and uphold all infection control protocols. Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills in a surgical or endoscopy setting. Excellent patient assessment skills. Proficiency in using endoscopic equipment and technology. Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations calmly and effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Certified Gastroenterology RN (CGRN) certification is preferred but not required.
