This position involves working directly with surgical patients, assisting surgeons, and ensuring the safety and recovery of patients pre- and post-operation. Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery. Assist surgical team in patient preparation and surgical procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and provide updates to the surgical team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and procedures. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical care Ability to work effectively within a team Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient in using medical software and surgical tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS/ACLS Certification required Certification in Surgical Nursing (CNS) preferred
