Provide continuous monitoring and care to patients in the Cardiac Step Down unit. Administer medications, document patient progress, and respond promptly to emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care, emphasizing cardiac health and overall wellness. Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes. Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) competency Proficiency in the use of cardiac monitors, ventilators, and other critical care equipment Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication and empathy skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred but not required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
