Job Description:
Join HCA Healthcare as a Nurse Extern in our Cardiac Surgery
Intensive Care Unit (CSIC) and play a pivotal role in providing
superior nursing care aligned with our mission to care for and

gain hands-on experience and further your nursing skills under the
supervision of experienced nursing staff, within a supportive and
patient-centric environment. You will assist in daily clinical
tasks and support the medical team in the delivery of exceptional
healthcare services at our advanced facilities. Assist in the
provision of direct patient care under the guidance of a registered
nurse. Monitor patient vital signs and report any critical changes
to the healthcare team. Support all aspects of patient care,
including documentation and the administration of treatments.
Participate in patient assessment and care planning. Ensure the
cleanliness and readiness of the healthcare environment and
equipment. Basic understanding of nursing functions and medical
terminology. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain
clinical standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Capacity to work efficiently under pressure. Medical Insurance

Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 90
days of hire.
