Job Description Position: Child Adolescent Psychiatrist Unit
Director Location: Anchorage, AK Join North Star Behavioral Health
Services in Anchorage, AK , as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
with an optional Unit Medical Director appointment. We've been a
leading provider of behavioral health services in Alaska since
1984, prioritizing family support through healing environments in
acute care and residential treatment programs. Duties Provide care
for child and adolescent patients (ages 5-18) in the inpatient and
residential treatment program. Daily average caseload 12-14.
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment
team leadership, and patient discharges following hospital
policies. Monday-Friday schedule with daytime hours and shared call

degree from an accredited program. BE/BC Child Adolescent
Psychiatry required. Licensed to practice in the State of Alaska or
ability to obtain required medical license. Meets all credentialing
criteria. Compensation/Benefits: Compensation range: $380,000
additional potential earnings through productivity bonus structure.
