Job Description AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Clinic Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Homer, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Occupational Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: 24 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Exciting new contract/travel opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with some background in pediatrics. Whether you're a seasoned therapist or a new grad looking for adventure, we'd love to talk to you! *Clinic is home to occupational therapists, speech therapists, and an ABA team *Hours are Monday through Friday 10-6 with 7 hours of direct service and a 1 hour paid lunch *Facility has two gyms and some private treatment space for evaluations or a quiet space/sensory room for patients who need a break *Open concept treatment center so there are times where 1:1 sessions have some nice interactions with other kids in the gym *Housing is available within walking distance of the clinic and shopping. Furnished, utilities included for $1000-1200 a month (Optional) *Clinic is 3,000 square feet Homer is well known as a great place fishing and is right on the ocean, outdoor life abounds with hiking and exploring, fall berry picking and northern lights in the winter! A number of small communities are nearby with art communities, great restaurants and more a short boat ride or drive away. Our ideal candidate is interested in working in a play-based environment, involving caregivers in play when recommended or requested, and enjoys collaboration and team work. Qualifications: You will need to hold an appropriate degree in Occupational Therapy and a current state license (or be eligible for same).
