Job Description:
As a vital member of the HCA Healthcare team, the RN Emergency
PRN provides vital nursing care to patients in emergency
situations, ensuring swift and proficient response in a high-stress
environment. At HCA Healthcare, we prioritize compassionate,

demands adaptive decision-making, operational flexibility, and the
highest level of nursing expertise, particularly in emergency and
acute care settings. Provide immediate medical attention to
emergencies involving patients of all ages. Assess patient health
problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and
maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured,
convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health
maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective
patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and
protocols for treatment. Act as a patient advocate by providing
information on patient rights, services, and health care. Advanced
cardiac life support (ACLS) Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Strong diagnostic skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended
