Job Description Job Type – Full Time Pay – $220k - $230k Patients Per Day – 18 - 20 EMR System - Athena Work Location – Outpatient and Inpatient Rounding Job Description A Homer, New York based client is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide excellent primary care services to children. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment, values evidence-based practice, and values patient centered care. The position is predominantly outpatient, with inpatient well-baby rounding. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current New York medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics Current BLS certification Responsibilities Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
