Job Description Professional Seeking Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatric Physician Outpatient primary care 4 days/week, see 12-15 patients/day. Experience in NRP, neonatal intubations and line placement, other pediatric hospitalist procedures desired. Join a Large Team of Primary Care Physicians 6 Family Medicine, 1 pediatrician, 4 APP's in group Support from 3 OB/GYNs and 3 CNM for newborn care 10 Days of pediatric call per month 2-3 Total pediatric patients per month on average Admit and manage pediatric patients Complex and PICU level patients are transferred to hospital in Anchorage, AK 22-Bed - Critical Access Hospital 9-Bed ED 6,500 annual visits Community NO STATE INCOME TAX or STATE SALES TAX Live on the incredible Kenai Peninsula Airport in town with daily flights to Anchorage World class fishing, hunting, hiking, glacial kayaking, wildlife viewing Vibrant art scene, named "America's Best Small Art Town" 3 high school in the state: STEM, AP and Foreign Language programs Stunning views of the ocean, glaciers and mountains Year-round wildlife cruises of Kachemak Bay Major, well known fishing charter destination for halibut and salmon Year-round ferry transportation throughout coastal Alaska Gastronomic paradise unmatched in Alaska for fresh seafood Biweekly farmers market with locally grown and harvested produce
