Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,340 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Alaska Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 hour day shifts (shift times vary: 0645-1915 or 0900-2130) Highlights: 13-week assignment at a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center Diverse surgical case mix including trauma, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, bariatric, vascular, gynecology, urology, and pediatric cases Advanced technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mazor Robot, and robotic orthopedic surgery capabilities Epic charting system in a cutting-edge operating room environment with 18 OR suites Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week pay period Free parking and comprehensive interdisciplinary support including radiology, pharmacy, lift teams, and interpretation services Requirements: Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission but must be in hand for offer) Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers not accepted BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Epic charting experience required Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Willingness to work on-call shifts for call-off coverage and weekend rotations Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted) Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty within the last 3 years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in Alaska's premier healthcare facility, recognized as a U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital and serving diverse patient populations from neonates to geriatrics.
