Job Description:
Description Pharmacy Technician – PMG Huffman Schedule: Full
time, Days, Monday- Friday The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays
a key role in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice
thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient
information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers,
pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in
prior authorizations as applicable and may administer vaccines when
in scope for the practice site. Providence Medical Group (PMG)
provides an extensive range of ambulatory services to patients
throughout Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon and Washington. As a

Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED Alaska Pharmacy Technician
License upon hire. National Certified Pharmacy Technician
certification within 2 years of hire as applicable. 1 year of
Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years Pharmacy
Technician experience if without National Certification. Preferred
Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program
(may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians) 1 year of

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job

pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
